Latest Burial Progress Report
The November 1, 2026 developer post says work continues on Burial and that the other route has been expanded. It does not announce a release date.
Is Episode 3B Playable?
The main Episode 3: Burial update remains in development. The short “Truest of True Ends” ending is already available, so it is inaccurate to say that no Burial content exists.
The short ending and the larger upcoming branch are different releases. This distinction explains why a player can earn a Burial-related achievement while still waiting for the full branch.

Is There a Confirmed Release Date?
No release date was given in the November update. A preview clip shows development work, not a completed downloadable episode. Check the dated developer announcement behind any claimed release date.
How to Prepare Your Saves
Keep a backup before the parents sequence in Episode 2 and another after your chosen branch. To enter Burial, choose to trust Andrew and decline the olive branch. Keep those files separate from Decay saves.
Read the installation and save instructions when the major update arrives. Do not assume an old save will load unchanged after story revisions.
Will Burial Cost Extra?
The Steam Early Access description treats the episodes as one game sold at one price. Check the official release announcement for update details. There is no need to buy a separate unofficial “Burial download” to prepare.
